Team Brady Takes Championship Lead With Monaco Podium
Monte-Carlo, Monaco, 18 July 2026: Team Brady deliveredanother standout performance in Monaco, securing second place, moving the team intothe overall championship lead. In demanding conditions, the team combined paceand consistency to claim a crucial podium and, with it, an advantage of ninepoints at the top of the standings.
Friday's qualifying session saw pilots SamColeman and Emma Kimiläinen put Team Brady in a solid fourth place to startrace day. With everything to play for, the team headed into Saturday determinedto convert that pace into championship points.
Race day got off to a good start as Emma finishedfourth in her group race before Sam stormed to victory in his, sending TeamBrady directly through to the finals. Emma then delivered a composed drive tofinish second in Final 1, earning Team Brady a start from lane two for thedecisive Final 2. With the overall result on the line, Sam took the wheel forthe final showdown, securing a second-place finish overall.
Attention now turns to Luanda, where the fifth round of the UIM E1World Championship takes place on 12– 13 September.
Sam Coleman, Team Brady Pilot, said: “It feels great to be back on the podium here in Monaco and to be at the top of the championship standings. To come away with another top three finish means we've now been on the podium at every race this season. We didn't have the easiest start to the weekend, but the team worked incredibly hard to unlock the pace and we kept improving with every session. It's a great result, but there's still a long way to go. We'll keep pushing, keep learning and keep working hard behind the scenes to make sure we remain in the title fight."
Emma Kimiläinen, Team Brady Pilot, added:"I’m very happy to come away with another podium here in Monaco. We started off quite slowly, but we progressed every time we went out on the water. That's one of this team's biggest strengths - we learn quickly, adapt to the conditions and work well together. Four races and four podiums is something we're incredibly proud of, but we know there's still plenty of racing left.With four rounds still to come, the championship is wide open, so we'll stay focused and keep building on this momentum."
